We Need Some Help and Support...Can You Help Us..

Knowing where to start is the main problem I have here. I have what is a great idea and at this moment in time is in the very early stages of what promises to be a very worth while operation. If you're reading this then hopefully you have also seen the main page on Quad Response and know what it is we do and where we would like to go.

It started out with myself trying to find a way to help people with something I get lots of enjoyment out of, My Quad bike. The original idea was to offer local community support. No super hero aspirations, just an enjoyment of riding my Quad bike and my willingness to help those around me that need assistance. I do not intend to make a living out of this, to be honest I am not looking to make a penny out of Quad Response I will do the best I can with what I have. If I can help others in anyway then that's payment enough.

As I stated above, my original idea was to support my local community and also if I can, the many holiday makers that come to this part of the country each year. After all Cornwall is a busy place in the holiday season with it many miles of rural landscape and many many miles of foot paths and walkways, not to mention the Moors and all the rugged coastal areas.

Well 9 months down the line of the launch of Quad Response I am presented with a dilemma, a dilemma that has a simple solution in theory but not so in practical terms, well not for me anyway.

Quad Response has the potential to save lives, to ease human suffering and to support the community both locally and nationally. There is an obvious hole in the the entire search/rescue and incident assistance on a national level. Quad Bikes have a firm and much needed place within incident support. Quad Response is not looking to become an Emergency service in its own right (Well not just yet), more of the ultimate support facility. Agreed, the Police and Ambulance service do have 4x4 vehicles, well some forces do but more often than not they are miles away from where they are needed or they may be tied up on less critical jobs. Quad Response could assist these already established services on an entirely new level. Due to the Quads agile capabilities they can go literally anywhere and could potentially save lives by getting to remote area's with critical emergency care and support. So what started as a small idea has already grown to something much bigger and more important, the main problem with this is that is now exceeding what our current equipment was made for and because of this we need to expand our equipment capabilities. This cost's money, money I unfortunate do not have at the moment. Be assured that if I had the funds needed then I would more than happily use it to get what we need to grow, what we need to save lives and help those that need our help and support. If I can't get help with getting the equipment we need then I will be looking to sell everything I own including this PC I am using at the moment, such is my confidence in Quad Response and what we would be able to do.

The equipment we currently have would have been suited to what I originally set out to do but in order to grow and offer a better service I need better equipment. I had an Apache Quad bike, I paid Almost £3300 for the basic quad bike, it lasted about 8 months before it started going wrong. Apache have offered little to no help in keeping it working. They seem very un-interested in any warranty related problem and as such I have paid for repairs etc as I do not want to be in a position where I don't have a quad bike on the road. I have approached company after company asking for help with Quad Response and out of the 50 or so emails I have sent out, I received only 2 replies and they were to say that they didn't want to help.

Have you ever felt so strongly about something, do you know how frustrating it can be to find that what you have to offer would be so useful. Only to realize no one is willing to help, no one wants to know. I have asked for nothing but support and help in the equipment I would like to have here to use to help others, to be able to cover all eventualities. I am not asking for money to spend on rubbish or stuff that's not related to helping others. I ask for no payment from those that I have helped, I do not ask for hero status - I just asked those that are in a position to help such as Quad/ATV manufacturers and the makers and suppliers of the equipment and supplies we would need in order to make a difference for help and do not even receive a reply - nothing!

Final bits of Equipment I am trying to get together:

Defibrillator - Philips Heartstart FR1/FR2 - Auto/Semi-Auto
Bags for Oxygen/Enternox

That kit is a lot of money but what price do you put on a life, none I hope. I am passionate about Quad Response and what its capable of doing. I truly believe that Quad Response will save lives, that we will be of great help to those in their moment of need. We would be here to help but apart from a lottery Win (Very Unlikely) I cannot think of a way to get the equipment listed above unless you can help.

Quad Response will serve the people and will definitely help save lives. Quad Response will also assist the Emergency services anyway we can but in order to do this effectively we need your help. We need your help to move forward and to be the best we can be..

If you would like to discuss any part of this page of Quad Response

I am willing to travel anywhere in the UK to discuss any aspect of Quad Response and to do this face to face which I feel is always the best way. I need help to move forward with Quad Response and I am running out of options. I have received an enthusiastic response from the local Ambulance trust and also the Police and other Voluntary services such as Search & Rescue teams. Unfortunately they are unable to offer any financial support to Quad Response.

Of course for any help I am more than willing to put my supporters logos on the quad in the hope that any and all features we have will in turn offer a potencial support advertsing.

Thank you So Much For Reading this Page, Hope to hear from you soon..

Best Wishes

Chris
